UPDATE: What I found interesting about all of this is that Apple charges $200 bucks to fix the screen.  As you guys all know, the new iPhone 3G 8gb model costs … $200!! I s there something wrong with the pricing here?  Hmm…  C’mon Apple, drop the service charge for screen replacement down $100 to where it should have already been!  The Genius Bar workers always seem to offer reassurance by stating, “Why not buy a new one for that price?”  But this serves no comfort when you realize upgrading your iPhone costs an additional $10 per month along with additional text message increased fees AND $18 up front for an upgrading fee. I’d rather fix an old iPhone, thanks!  Here’s to hoping the price for repair updates decreases now that the 3G is out!
